  3. What we have here is a pretty simple demonstration of the Paradox engine
  4. (PXENGWIN.DLL) used with Visual Basic. You must have the DLL to use this 
  5. demo.

  7. Unzip the PXDEMO file into your \VB directory and bring up the PXTEST 
  8. project. I didn't include the exe so just make an exe from the project.
  9. It permits you to select a paradox database (two are included) and to 
  10. look at the contents of each field. The next/prev buttons retrieves the
  11. appropriate records into a buffer (pxrec) for field display.

  13. The good thing about this demo is the exhaustive PXENGWIN.BAS & PXTEST.BAS
  14. files. These two little beauties give you nearly (alas!) everything you need
  15. to fully utilize the Paradox engine under VB. Most of the functions that
  16. I have declared have been tested in this and other projects (though not all!).
  17. I have added a few global functions to make life easier; they can also be
  18. found in the PXENGWIN.BAS file.

  20. I have taken the time to package and upload this demo as payback for all the 
  21. help I have recieved from the many files I have downloaded over the years.
  22. Use this in good health and happiness, knowing that I have done most of the 
  23. grunt work for you, and remember to upload your own demo's to save the rest of
  24. us a little time and effort.
